Membership: Do This Before You Come

Becoming a member of Club Joi is simple. Start with the Required Profile. If approved, you'll receive an email with further instructions. Once you have a profile and paid membership, you can purchase event tickets, RSVP to events, see "Who's Hot," "Who's Going," and "Who's New," enjoy the news feed, access video chat, and more. There are discounts and special offers only available online.

You cannot get membership at the door the night of the event. Sign up online before you come — it's quick and easy.

Single Ladies

Single ladies are always free with current membership. Create the free profile; if approved, you'll receive further instructions. We're happy to answer all your questions.

Gentlemen

Gentlemen must have a membership with a female partner. No gentleman is allowed to enter without a membership with his approved partner, and members must arrive and leave together.

This rule exists to protect the atmosphere: lonely or pushy guys ruin the sexy environment. If a gentleman is in the play areas without his partner, please alert management — he'll be removed from the play areas or the club. Management reserves the right to deny, revoke, or suspend membership without explanation.

Tickets & Pricing

  • Event hours vary — check the details for the event you want to attend.
  • Current membership prices are posted on the Tickets page and the Membership tab.
  • Each event has a minimum donation (see the Tickets page).
  • Cash, VIP passes, and fun prizes for Best in Theme (when available).

The most important read before your first night: the Club Joi Rules & Membership Agreement. It covers consent, privacy protections (including $100,000 penalties for anyone who violates member privacy), play area rules, and everything you're agreeing to as a member. It's what makes the club feel safe — read it before you apply.

Getting Here Is Easy

Club Joi is conveniently located in the heart of Los Angeles, just half a mile off major freeways — about a half hour from Irvine, Woodland Hills, Redondo Beach, and Ontario. We have members who visit regularly from San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Bakersfield, and couples visiting LA from all over the world.

On-premise parties happen every Friday and Saturday. We sometimes add weekday events, but not every week — check the calendar for themes and dates, and sign up for the newsletter to keep up with what's going on at the club.

Inside the Club

The Party

  • Huge dance floor with 2 X-Poles.
  • Erotic dance music with 1, 2, sometimes 3 DJs.
  • Cozy lounge areas with light-up furniture.
  • Sexy on-site play areas with velvet bed covers, plus a massive "PlayStation" area.

Drinks & Food

Club Joi is BYOB — no alcohol is sold. Bring exactly what you like — no $18 cocktails. Check your bottle at the bar and we'll label it with the same number as your wristband. Our bar girls — members who volunteer — keep track of your drinks all night, and the bar keeps you supplied with unlimited soft drinks, juice, bottled water, and mixers, plus new frozen margaritas, strawberry daiquiris, and other frozen concoctions.

A yummy buffet is included in your ticket price: hot dishes hearty enough to make a meal, fresh fruit and veggies, delicious pastries, and munchie snacks like cookies, chips, pepperoni, cheese, and crackers.

Coat Check & Lockers

  • Coat and bag check: $10.
  • Lockers available — bring a lock or rent one for $5.

It's dark, you might drink, and you may take your clothes off — it's easy to lose things. Lock up your valuables (and your phone — more on that below).

Dress Code: Dress to Impress

Upscale club attire required.

Gentlemen

At least a collared shirt, please — no one is impressed by a t-shirt, no matter what it says or how much you paid for it. No shorts. No sandals. No baseball caps. No sports attire. No ripped clothing, even if it's made that way. We don't care how much you paid for ripped jeans — they're not allowed.

Ladies

Ladies don't really have a dress code. A big part of the fun is dressing in clothes so sexy you can't wear them anywhere else! Feel free to use the lockers and change as often as you like.

Clean Is Sexy

Our Part

  • We provide condoms, wet wipes, and towels in all playrooms for your convenience and protection.
  • All soft surfaces are sprayed heavily with Lysol or Microban 24 before and after each event.
  • All hard surfaces — couches, tables, bar — are cleaned with a strong commercial disinfectant.
  • Towels, bed covers, and tablecloths are washed after each event.
  • Toilets are supplied with seat protectors, and there's a bidet in every ladies' stall.
  • Cleaning staff work during the event to keep things fresh all night.

Your Part

  • Please use the provided towels for playing. Used towels go in the laundry bins; wet wipes and condoms go in the trash containers.
  • Obviously, bathing is necessary — and washing between partners is strongly encouraged. The shower is in the lower playroom area.
  • Please go light on perfume or cologne. The smell of soap is sexier!
  • Please don't use bath towels to clean drink spills — tell the cleaning staff, bartender, security, host couple, or management and we'll mop it up.

Your Privacy Is Protected. (Yes, That Means No Phones.)

No phones on the floor. No exceptions. No texting, no checking your feed, no answering calls — don't even check the time. Call your Uber from the front desk, not the dance floor. Please put your phone in a locker along with your other valuables.

We know it's painful, but you will survive without your phone. Side effects may include talking, making friends, and maybe even playing with others.

Cameras are absolutely forbidden. We will never take pictures or video of you without your knowledge and consent. Our promotional pictures and YouTube videos were filmed at a special free masquerade event — if we ever do it again, you'll be notified in advance, the event details will make the filming very clear, and you'd sign a photo release before entering.

Profile pictures are never available to the public.

Our website is powered by Modern Lifestyle, which builds sites for lifestyle and fetish clubs across the US, Canada, and Europe. The entire site is encrypted, password protected, and engineered to protect your privacy.

Members Rewards

Special events excluded. Non-transferable. No replacement stamps for lost cards. Obtaining stamps is the sole responsibility of the member.

The Club Joi Difference

It can be difficult enough for four swingers to agree to play together without the club getting in the way. The goal of Club Joi is to provide a fun place in Los Angeles for experienced swingers and newbies to meet and play — a place where couples new to the lifestyle can explore and fulfill their fantasies without feeling intimidated, while maintaining the complete on-premise experience for seasoned swingers.

House parties are fun, and can feel like your teenage years — sneaking off to someone's mom's bedroom. The problem is they lack the club-like environment, and they sometimes annoy the neighbors.

Hotel parties can be overwhelming even for seasoned swingers. New couples stand around wondering if they'll ever get comfortable enough to go for it in front of onlookers in a well-lit hotel room. The vanilla-like dance areas can be too limiting for sexy swinger girls. More fun than a regular club — but nowhere near as exciting as Joi.

Meet-and-greet groups can be effective, but awkward when it comes to taking things to the next level. The age-old question — "our place or yours?" — or the frustration of the flake factor: you leave the party, lose the other couple... game over.

On-premise lifestyle clubs are by far the most comfortable places to meet new swingers to dance and play with, and to take that next big step. It's simply much easier to say, "Let's go check out the play area."

Quick Answers

How much does it cost?

Current membership prices are posted on the Tickets page and Membership tab, and each event has a minimum donation listed on the Tickets page. Single ladies are always free with current membership, and your ticket includes the full buffet and unlimited soft drinks. Coat check is $10 and locker rental is $5 (or bring your own lock).

Is Club Joi BYOB?

Yes — Club Joi is BYOB. No alcohol is sold at the club, so bring exactly what you like (no $18 cocktails). Check your bottle at the bar: it gets labeled with the same number as your wristband, and our bar girls — members who volunteer — keep track of your drinks all night. The bar also serves unlimited soft drinks, juice, bottled water, and mixers, plus frozen margaritas, strawberry daiquiris, and other frozen concoctions.

What should I wear to a swingers club?

Upscale club attire. Gentlemen: at least a collared shirt — no shorts, sandals, baseball caps, sports attire, or ripped clothing. Ladies can wear anything: a big part of the fun is dressing in clothes too sexy to wear anywhere else, and you can use the lockers to change as often as you like.

Can single men attend?

Gentlemen must hold a membership with a female partner and must arrive and leave together with her. This rule keeps the environment comfortable and pressure-free. Single gentlemen may attend only special Ladies Fantasy events, hosted by the Hot Wife Community.

Will anyone photograph or film me?

Never without your knowledge and consent. Phones must be locked away and cameras are forbidden. The only filming ever done at Club Joi happens at clearly announced special events with signed photo releases. Profile pictures are never available to the public, and the entire website is encrypted and password protected.

How clean are the play areas?

Very. Condoms, wet wipes, and towels are provided in all playrooms. Soft surfaces are treated with Lysol or Microban 24 before and after each event, hard surfaces are cleaned with commercial disinfectant, all linens are washed after each event, and cleaning staff work throughout the night. Every ladies' stall has a bidet, and there's a shower in the lower playroom area.

Do we have to do anything on our first visit?

No. Many couples spend their first night dancing, enjoying the buffet, and just taking in the atmosphere. Nobody is pressured to do anything — touching without asking is against the rules, and no always means no. You move at your own pace, whether that's your first night or your fiftieth.

How do we join?

Fill out the Required Profile online. If approved, you'll get an email with next steps. Membership cannot be purchased at the door, so apply before the night you want to attend. Before applying, read the Rules & Membership Agreement — it's the foundation of the club's privacy and consent culture.
